Freshly baked bread, homemade mozzarella, pickled tomatoes – whatever we make in our manufactory and our bakery will end up on the tables of our restaurant. We work closely with the farmers and artisans behind our products, because we are convinced that great cuisine starts long before the components get into our hands – on the fields and in the orchards.

Lean back and enjoy. We set the table with many small plates filled delicacies and artisan specialties from our manufactory and our bakery. Whatever is up too quickly, can be easily ordered again.
EVENINGS
DINNER
We serve a seasonal tasting menu. What the courses of the night will look like exactly, is always decided in the morning. The focus is on the simple products. We serve vegetables grown by our family, salmon trout from the Wisper Valley, dairy products from our own small dairy and matured local meat. The heart of the restaurant is the open fireplace. Here we grill & smoke. Our wine list is characterized by wines that are hand-picked and produced and bottled with minimal intervention in the cellar.
While the fields and meadows of Rheinhessen are in hibernation and nothind grows in our restaurant garten, the pankratz becomes a bistro from January to March. Open Wednesdays to Saturdays.
